Remember when TiVo and DVR came about, how ecstatic you were that you could skip commercials and watch your favorite shows at your convenience? Gone were the days of popping in a VHS to record your daily soap opera, and hello to the days of now feeling irritated with watching shows in real time.

For the past 4+ years, several of my Challengers complain about not being able to travel for work, or on vacation, and stay on track with the Challenge group and their fitness program. Maybe their computer doesn’t have a DVD-ROM, or they’re doing a program with their spouse and their spouse needs the discs while they’re away, or they simply aren’t sure how they’re going to squeeze in a venture to the hotel weight room during their business trip. Besides, who wants to be the weirdo popping in Insanity in the Bellagio weight room at 7am in the morning?

Just as TiVo and DVR revolutionized the way we experience television, Beachbody OnDemand is revolutionizing the way we look at exercise on-the-go. Envision stay-at-home Moms propping their iPhone up on a park bench while their kids play at the playground, squeezing in their PiYo or T25 while the kids exert their energy with friends. Or the businessman who simply wakes up in the morning 30 minutes earlier than planned, presses Play on P90X3 Warrior via his iPad, and crushes his workout before leaving his hotel room. Yeah, it’s about to happen.

We do our best to eliminate the excuses people have to live a healthy, fulfilling life. Five years ago, folks complained that Shakeology was too hard to travel with. Beachbody then came out with travel packets for the person on the go. Easy to squeeze into the suitcase, and a blender bottle to match. Three years ago, people complained that the P90X workouts were too long, hovering around 60-90 minutes and requiring equipment. So, out came T25, a 25 minutes-a-day workout program requiring no equipment and delivering stellar transformational results. Then, P90X3 (30 minutes) and Max:30 (also 30 minutes), and the list goes on. Then, folks started to complain that the DVDs were a hassle, given their nonexistent DVD-ROM or space in the suitcase.

And now, we have Beachbody OnDemand. Created, in fact, by the brainchild behind Hulu. (Have I mentioned how much I love this company?)

Just $0.44 per workout, available 24/7.

It’s like a gym or trainer in your back pocket.

Don’t have time? We’ve got you covered.

Don’t have equipment? We’ve got you covered.

Don’t have WiFi? Yeah right. 😉

Body Electric is forming a test group to test out the new Beachbody OnDemand capabilities. If interested, please contact your Coach for more information!
