Blood Sugar Regulation

Listen to the Episode Below

Show Notes

Welcome to the SYNC Your Life podcast episode #42! On this podcast, we will be diving into all things women’s hormones to help you learn how to live in alignment with your female physiology. Too many women are living with their check engine lights flashing. You know you feel “off” but no matter what you do, you can’t seem to have the energy, or lose the weight, or feel your best. This podcast exists to shed light on the important topic of healthy hormones and cycle syncing, to help you gain maximum energy in your life.  In today’s episode, I’m covering another common cause of hormone imbalance: troubles with blood sugar regulation. Often times, women are struggling with blood sugar regulation, cortisol imbalance, estrogen dominance, or more than one of these issues. Today we cover blood sugar and how fluctuations in it can lead to issues like PCOS, weight gain in the belly, and other problems.

In this episode, I refer to a previous episode known as The 4-Legged Hormone Chair. You can listen to it here.

I also mention my recent episode on general nutrition for women, found here.

Here is my article titled, “Should I Avoid Dairy for Hormone Health?”

In this episode, I reference two articles:

4 Types of PCOS by Dr. Lara Briden

Treatment for 4 Types of PCOS by Dr. Lara Briden
