[00:00:58] Jenny Swisher: Welcome friends to this episode of the Sync Your Life podcast. It is time to share my holiday gift guide for 2024. That’s right, I’m going to share my favorite things from this year so that you know what to add to your holiday wish list. The truth is, we as women usually prioritize everyone else first.
[00:01:15] Jenny Swisher: We make sure that the kids have a great holiday. We’re often in charge of hosting gatherings and making sure that every little detail is in place. But let me be the first to tell you that you deserve something for yourself too. Everything on this list is truly something I love and enjoy and use often.
[00:01:29] Jenny Swisher: I know you’ll find value in them too. So let’s dive in. First and foremost is the Sync Your Life 2025 Planner. Yes, this is our third year for the Sync Planner. It is cycle syncing specific, but it is also usable for my moon syncers, my women in menopause who do not have a menstrual cycle. It’s all about following your energy.
[00:01:47] Jenny Swisher: I believe women should follow their energy. And it turns out our energy ebbs and flows with our menstrual cycle and also with the moon. The various phases of our cycle come with different energy levels. So why not take advantage of this when it comes to our productivity? Now I’ve used the Aura Ring since 2021 and it has been the number one game changer for me when it comes to biohacking my sleep and my recovery. Number four is a seed cycling kit. My friend Kate Morton over at Funkit Wellness created Funkit Wellness for this exact reason.
[00:04:30] Jenny Swisher: Because we know that seeds will actually help women over different times of their cycle in boosting natural hormones. For example, flax seed is really great with estrogen. And sunflower seeds are really great for progesterone boosting in the second half of the cycle. So what she’s done is she’s taken the guesswork out of it.
[00:04:45] Jenny Swisher: She mills all of the seeds down into a fine ground flour, and you’re actually able to put it into your smoothies or on your salads for a little bit of a crunch. This is a game changer when it comes to what we call seed cycling. So if you are a cycling female, if you’re still menstruating, this can help you balance your hormones naturally through food.
[00:05:02] Jenny Swisher: But again, not all seeds are created equal. A lot of them can be found with mycotoxins and molds. So making sure that you’re getting a good clean source, and also making sure again that they are ground nice and fine makes all the difference. So I avoid seeds that are sold in grocery stores.

[00:06:55] Jenny Swisher: Now we definitely should be going fluoride free, but there’s also a lot of really gross artificial sugars and other things that exist in traditional toothpastes. So Boca toothpaste is a brand that I can trust. We switched our whole family to it. My daughters actually like the strawberry flavor. My husband and I use the orange creamsicle, but it has become a family favorite.
[00:07:14] Jenny Swisher: We’ve eliminated fluoride, which is half the battle, but we’re also reducing other toxic ingredients as well. And we’re sticking to that hydroxyapatite ingredient. Boca is the brand that we trust. Number eight is Momentous Creatine. Now when you’re looking for a creatine, which by the way, all women should be consuming creatine.
[00:07:30] Jenny Swisher: It is one of the most studied supplements out there for women. You should be looking for a creatine monohydrate. So Momentous is the brand that I choose. Now I incorporate this into my regimen every day, and I believe every woman should. Because we have decades of research on the benefits for women. And I must say that I’ve noticed a change in my own physique since using it.
[00:07:49] Jenny Swisher: I simply mix it into my post workout protein drink as it blends in flavorless. And before you go thinking that creatine is for bodybuilding women only, I will link up for you a podcast that I did on the power of creatine. It’s even good for brain fog, especially as we enter perimenopause. Number nine on the list is Our Place brand.
[00:08:07] Jenny Swisher: Yes, I said Our Place non toxic cookware. This is a question I get asked often is how do I cook my food since most nonstick pans out there well, first of all, we use cast iron skillets in my house, um, but we also use the Our Place non toxic cookware. So, along the lines of making simple swaps in the toxic products that we’re using in, on, and around our bodies, we also have to take a look at the cookware that we’re cooking with on a daily basis.
[00:08:33] Jenny Swisher: Many of them leach chemicals into our food, which is just not cool. So, The Always Pan is my favorite from our place. It even has a little spoon rest, which is so perfect so you don’t get your countertop dirty when you’re cooking. But I will link this up for you in the show notes as well. It makes a great, great gift.
[00:08:48] Jenny Swisher: Number 10 is Campo Beauty Essential Oils. Since we’re on the subject of getting away from toxins in our environment, I know I, for one, was a huge candle lover. I loved frequenting the aisles of HomeGoods and other places sniffing candles, especially back in my 20s. But now I know better. Now I know that those fragrances and, and phthalates are really, really detrimental to our health.
[00:09:10] Jenny Swisher: So now I use Campo Beauty essential oils. Again, I interviewed the founder on the podcast, so I’ll link it up for you in the show notes, but it has been the best sense for my day to day. Now I do have the rollers, so I will actually roll them onto my skin, onto my wrist, or even onto my temples for migraines.
[00:09:26] Jenny Swisher: But I love the smells. So I went and bought bigger bottles of what I had in the rollers, and I also bought their diffuser. And now my house smells like this. Glorious, rich, natural scent, which is way better, way better than the dog smell that we probably have from our puppy. So, I, I wish everyone had these scents in their life.
[00:09:45] Jenny Swisher: My favorite is the Relax, um, but all of them really truly are amazing. Number 11 on the list is Ripley Co. Farms Grass Finished Beef Boxes. Now, if you don’t know the difference between grass fed and grass finished beef, now is the time to learn. So I will link up for you a podcast interview that I did with the founder of Ripley Cove Farms, but I’m telling you, it makes all the difference in our nutrition.

It seems like every time I open my Instagram, there’s somebody with like a red light therapy mask on or they’re in front of a red therapy light. Or they’re in front of a red light, but I like Lux therapy.
[00:10:43] Jenny Swisher: I think the type of red light that you’re getting matters. And I know that the science and the effort and the research put behind this product is far superior than the average red light you might find on Amazon. So red light therapy is becoming more and more popular and with good reason, right? I use it every single day for my migraine headaches and my neck pain.
[00:11:00] Jenny Swisher: Um, I again have interviewed the founder of Lux therapy, Tony Koviak. So I’ll link that up for you in the show notes in case you want to hear more. But you can find red lights anywhere. Like I said, even on Amazon, but finding a high quality light can be a difference maker in your healing journey. So I like how portable this one is.
[00:11:14] Jenny Swisher: I keep it tucked right underneath my desk in my office. And then when I’m working, I pull it out and I’d like to just sit in the red light. Number 13 is the Mira wand. Now I’ve been using a Mira wand for almost two years now. And while I have had to replace it a couple of times due to malfunction, their customer service has replaced it without any questions.
[00:11:33] Jenny Swisher: I’m a huge fan of the data that it provides. In fact, I don’t know if I could go without it at this point. I track my menstrual cycle daily through my urine because you get a little dipstick and a little cup to test your urine every single day. But if you’re looking to conceive or if you’re looking to do cycle syncing more specifically or just track your cycle more specifically, or even if you just want a good handle on your menstrual health and whether or not you’re ovulating, Because, as we know, ovulation is your fifth vital sign, Mira will give you the data that you’re looking for, and you can really learn a lot from this.
[00:12:03] Jenny Swisher: Number 14, and last but not least, is a weighted vest. Now, if you’re wanting to increase bone density and improve skeletal muscle, you can add a weighted vest to your walking routine. Something as simple as adding resistance to your daily walk can help you burn more calories. Now, that’s not the end goal, but it is great for improving metabolic rate.
[00:12:20] Jenny Swisher: It also helps you stay strong in your core, Bye bye. I wear a 12 pound weighted vest, we typically say 10 percent of your body weight, for about three to four walks per week. Now, don’t be surprised if your usual casual walk becomes a bit more breathy. You might find that you’re entering zone two with that weighted vest on, but it’s okay to just also go for walks without it too.
[00:12:40] Jenny Swisher: I like to remind people, you don’t have to feel like you have to wear a weighted vest every time you walk. Even just a couple of times a week can make a big difference. Sometimes we need the push and sometimes we just need a casual walk. So that is my list for you, my friends. These are truly my favorite things that I couldn’t live without.
[00:12:54] Jenny Swisher: I’m so excited to get my sink planner in the mail here soon. I drink Lifeboost coffee every single day.
