Wanna know the real truth about those of us who are crushing our results in our fitness? 

We aren’t doing it by simply working out every day.

I think it’s a common misconception that super fit men and women are obsessed with exercise. Like we workout multiple times a day, or more than an hour a day, in order to have 6-pack abs and toned arms. 

Nothing could be further for the truth, at least for those of us who are Coaches and working out from home.

The reality is, most of the time, our workouts are 30-40 minutes in length (rarely over an hour), and our real secret is actually not the workouts at all… It’s how we FUEL for our workouts.

Most of us are using natural, performance optimizing supplements, in addition to nature’s whole foods, to make the most of our 30-40 minutes of exercise on a daily basis. And we aren’t just rolling with the popular energy-boosting pre-workouts found on Amazon or in grocery stores. We’re choosing what we feel is the BEST in the field.

Energize

Beachbody Performance Energize is our pre-workout of choice because, while it does utilize a small amount of naturally sourced caffeine, its other ingredients, quercetin and beta-alanine, are loaded with performance enhancing benefits. Science has shown that these ingredients improve performance, promote muscle recovery, and delay muscle fatigue, allowing you to get the most out of your workout every day. Our favorite thing about it? It’s a great energy booster even when we aren’t working out! Lots of our busy Mom clients use it for a mid-morning boost in place of coffee and other traditional caffeine beverages. Flavor options include: lemon, fruit punch, and coming soon: mixed berry!

Hydrate

This is a personal favorite of mine, and one that I endorse to everyone who is working out at a higher intensity, or who exercise as an endurance athlete. It’s even great for teens playing high school sports, in place of traditional sports drinks like Gatorade. It does just what it says: it helps you hydrate/re-hydrate the body when the body is under stress, such as in a workout. Some people ask the question, “Why does it contain sugar?” Dr. Nima Alamdari answers this question in this video, by saying that “osmolality is the driver that will ensure rapid and effective hydration.” The sugars in Hydrate (and all Performance line products) are all-natural. Nothing artificial, as per usual with our products.

Recover

The #1 complaint I receive, both as a personal trainer and virtual Coach, is “I’m so sore!” Believe it or not, most people who don’t stay on track with their workouts struggle due to muscle soreness and fatigue. This is why Recover is such an amazing product! I swear by it, and now that it comes in a plant-based, vegan formulation, I recommend it to everyone. Check out this video.

Recharge

So what does all of this mean?

It means that these tools and supplements are in our arsenal of superpowers, and allow us to have great workouts, maintain our energy, recover well, and get stronger. After all, when we workout, we are tearing muscle (yep, you read that right), and if we can help that muscle repair itself, not to mention have a better workout in the first place, well… We become fit, and strong, and feel invincible.
