Jenny Swisher: [00:00:00] Welcome friends to this [00:01:00] episode of the Sync Your Life podcast. Today I’m sharing with you an exciting announcement for sync members, and that is the launch of our Adrenal Healing Fitness and Education program at the time of this recording, this program has fully launched within our SYNC program, and I’m so excited to be able to offer this option to women in our community.
So what is adrenal healing? Well, it’s a way to address burnout in women through exercise that serves us and our nervous systems, as well as the education that we need surrounding nutrition, sleep, and lifestyle that can ultimately help us regain our energy. So many women are dealing with adrenal burnout, whether it’s from perimenopause itself, when the adrenals become extra burdened with transitioning hormones or from being a new mom, or even in my case, a fitness enthusiast, overdoing it with exercise.
Regardless. I found that most women will face adrenal burnout at some point in their lives, if not before perimenopause. Then during, and when we launched our sink course in 2020, with the goal being to help women cycle sink and uncover a root cause approach to their health, it became quite [00:02:00] evident that we needed to offer something for this particular type of woman.
The woman going through a season of stress. Exercise is a stressor, and oftentimes we think it’s what we need most in order to lose the weight and feel good again. When in reality it’s adding extra unnecessary stress that leaves our nervous systems shot. Nervous system health sits at the top of our health hierarchy.
Your body cannot heal and achieve optimal energy in a stressed state. And stress comes in the form of various things. Relationship, stress, work, stress, environmental, toxins, the nature of perimenopause, and yes, sometimes even exercise. So what we’ve done here is we’ve created a program designed to prioritize your nervous system.
And to help you understand the why behind your burnout so that you can ultimately heal. This is not a curative program in any way. It’s not meant to replace your doctor’s guidance, of course, but it is there to give you actionable, tangible things to apply to your daily life. For this program, we’ve brought on board a second trainer to our fitness [00:03:00] platform, Jen Xanders, who will be joining me for an interview.
Launching next week is a 500 ERYT yoga instructor, breathwork expert, and co-owner of Flourish Yoga and Wellbeing. Fun fact. She also plays a huge role in my hormone health story. We crossed each other’s paths. Back in 2009 when I was working my corporate job in book publishing, at the same time I was suffering from chronic migraines and she was the yoga instructor for the lunch hour yoga.
Fast forward to three to four years later when I opened a personal training gym here in Indianapolis. She was my first hire as the yoga instructor for my client. She’s gone on to pursue so many endeavors in nervous system work, and so when it came time to create something specific for this, she was the perfect fit in partnership for this program.
She’s created four vinyasa flows for this program, along with four various types of meditations and somatic exercises such as yoga, nidra, and other things that help women find the calm in their day to day. In addition, we’ve included eccentric workouts from our resident trainer, Kelsey Lindman, so that women can continue to lift heavy [00:04:00] weights.
In a way that doesn’t strain their nervous systems. That way we can keep you active as we heal. Of course, we have a huge focus on nutrition and adequate fueling because that plays a vital role in getting your energy back. We also dive deep into what it means to navigate HPA access dysfunction, also known as adrenal fatigue.
To be able to create this program has been a blessing, but to see the feedback that we’re getting already is truly amazing. Women are saying things like, this is exactly what my body needed today. Or, wow, these are things that I can take with me and use for life. That is the goal.
